The evening unfolds like a film in motion-moments of anticipation flickering through the theatre’s century-old splendor. Beneath the marquee’s glow, new stories are exchanged; voices mingle with the hush of old velvet and honed marble. Memory lingers here, echoing through the halls with a warmth both familiar and new.

Emma Summerton reimagines this narrative through her own lens, translating it into a sequence of black-and-white portraits- an homage to Weideman’s ensemble of singular characters, each suspended in a fleeting moment of mystery and allure.Our cinematic story revels in connection and the quiet intrigue that draws us toward one another. An ode to our enduring love of film, the Holiday Collection emerges with equal parts restraint and radiance, crafted for the moments that invite each character to arrive fully as they are: composed, assured, and entirely present.

Inspired by In My Taxi: New York After Hours by Ryan Weideman- who drove a New York City cab from 1980 to 2016. the series of black-and-white photographs captures the spirit of the city after dark, documenting an eclectic cast of passengers from the late 1980s and early 1990s.
