Situated along one of SoHo’s picturesque cobblestone streets, 89 Mercer pays homage to its neighborhood’s creative spirit through an open, lofted space and raw concrete floors that feel almost like walking into an art gallery. An expansive half-mooned skylight illuminates the natural texture of an exposed brick wall, peppered with hand-carved wood sculptures from the ‘70s. A De Sede sectional in beautifully aged leather curves around an Italian travertine coffee table stacked with literature on art, poetry and photography that invites a moment of pause. Exposed shelves showcase ceramics from local artists, while our ever-changing shoe collection is exhibited nearby atop a ‘60s modern cubist sculpture sourced from LA’s Amsterdam Modern.
